An exhibition and catalogue on architecture in Romania, containing the presentation of the architectural production from beginning of 19. century to the last decades until today.

The architectural heritage of Romania with its regional character, its originality and at the same time its similarity to other architectures is part of the variety and richness of European culture.
Romania, with its geographic location at the crossroads of West and East is a bridge between those cultures, and it developed its own spirituality out of that.
On the occasion of Romania’s joining the EU at the beginning of the year, its culture warrants special attention; a look at the architecture aims to mediate and make accessible the hitherto unknown.
