VALIE EXPORT

Within the frameworks of 2 Moscow Biennale in March 2007 the works of the Austrian artist VALIE EXPORT will be presented for the first time in Russia in a special exhibition.

VALIE EXPORT is the Austrian avant-garde export, who was contemned and despised in the 60ies and 70ies, when her artistic potential was only realized and appreciated by a few. Nearly 30 years later, she is world - wide one of the most internationally distinguished and noted artists.

With the exhibition, a symposium and a catalogue being published in English and Russian, the multifaceted attempts in the works of VALIE EXPORT will be proclaimed to the Muscovite audience.
