ZOOM Kindermuseum
Unlike other museums, Zoom Kindermuseum enables children to explore, experience and play and to discover the world with all their senses.
In 1994, the ZOOM Kindermuseum (Children's Museum) – the first children's museum in Austria – opened up. Since then it has lastingly shaped the cultural scene of children in Vienna and provided valuable pioneering and advocating work for children and children's culture. Especially in the museum field, ZOOM played an important pioneer role so that today almost all Viennese museums have discovered children as a target group and offer special programs for them.
Erste Group supports the ZOOM Kindermuseum (Children's Museum) as a partner.
Story
For the exhibition “It flies, it flies” the next ENTERprise - architects changed a part of ZOOM Children's Museum into a piece of heaven, rebuilt a Fokker 100 and set up experimental stations. Now one can slip into the skin of flying creatures, drag oneself up to lofty heights, control a flight simulator, or explore butterflies, hummingbirds and other flying natural phenomena.
