USA - Video FestivalPrvní dekáda // The First Decade // May 25 – 28, 2006The First Decade, a survey of American video from 1968 to 1980, will present over sixty landmark titles by fifty American artists and art groups in the last weekend in May within the framework of the Světozo cinema’s Audiovisual project, including Steina and Woody Vasulka, Nam June Paik, Dara Birnbaum, Richard Serra, Ant Farm, Dan Graham, William Wegmann, John Baldessari, Vito Acconci, Juan Downey, Robert Morriss, Lynda Benglis, Linda Montano, Martha Rosler, Dan Sandin, Eric Siegel, Paul McCarthy, Bruce Nauman, Peter Campus, Charlemagne Palestine, Terry Fox, Gary Hill and Bill Viola.The program (supported by tranzit.cz) will be introduced by leading Czech critics and artists: Jiří Ševčík, Miloš Vojtěchovský, Martina Pachmanová, Tomáš Pospiszyl, Pavlína Míčová, Filip Cenek, Denisa Kera, David Kulhánek, Dušan Záhoranský and Vít Janeček.
